Okta Verify App as two-factor Authentication

Usernames and passwords alone do not provide sufficient security. To enhance protection, two-factor authentication (2FA) is used, combining a username, password, and an additional layer of security. SMS-based 2FA offers better security than just a username and password, but it has certain weaknesses.

Therefore, all employees are encouraged to use the OKTA VERIFY app for 2FA when logging in via NANO. This solution provides higher security, faster logins, and is more cost-effective for the organization.

Thank you for helping to strengthen the security of our digital ecosystem in NorgesGruppen!
